It was so beautiful on Sunday i had to take a walk with the kids in my favorite park to welcome the fall season.
I was also trying a new edit…well is not new, i just have not played with it for a while and this filmy look is one of my favorites.
While in the park i found this new spot and i am loving it! and the smell of pine was delicious!
Bear Creek you are looking wonderful!

I loved the outcome of this session so much and Tina was one lucky girl…nice weather, light…it was a dream of a photographer day. I want to thank her also for letting me practice new thing with her session. I tell Ms. Tina all the time that she is my # 1 fan (she is) and she had been waiting for this session for quiet some time. I hope you love these pictures as much as i do. So finally the day arrived, and i could not be happier. Thank you my love for letting me spend a beautiful hour and a half with your beautiful family. I LOVE U! 🙂
She is also a genius at posing..she had her entire session planned out…piece of cake for me!
ENJOY MY FAVORITES…
PHOTOGRAPHING KIDS IS SOOOOOO EASY!
~ Gracie ~
This is part of my family. Omar, Maria, Crystal and Aurora. We always say it’s funny how we had two boys and they had two girls and they are each the same age. I do not think we planned it but we love the idea that they will each have a buddy growing up. We did these quick photos a day before New Year’s and it was cold! We got a lot of great ones for the mini session this ended up being. It was just toooooo cold for the girls. We will try again early spring. So for those wondering what can be done in a 30 minute session here you go!…
ENJOY my favorites!
My last official session of the year!
Thank you Michele for trusting me on this 🙂
A special note, we were so overcast that we were praying for no rain. The minute we walked away to our cars it started pouring! and on my way home i saw a rainbow. Hope this means good luck for the upcoming year.
ENJOY my favorites!!!
I think this is the coolest thing i will EVER do:
The fall has finally arrived to Houston and i really thought the fall colors where never going to show up. (That is how desperate i was). I had the honor to photograph her beautiful family this past weekend.I have know Misty for quite some time now and even though we have grown apart and we sometimes do not talk that often when i see her, time has not gone by. She is a very very happy soul and i love her for that. Happy Holidays my friend and i am happy you are happy and loved.
Here are a few of my favorites….Enjoy!
Our summer Sunday afternoons have changed so much. We now enjoy watching these happy faces play in our back yard while we BBQ. Next year it will be 3 kiddos running around in our backyard. Would not change this for nothing! 🙂
We had no power for about an hour so i went outside and took these gorgeous pictures of the beautiful light that comes after the rain.
This one was edited with a sunhaze action i made 🙂
I had the pleasure of photographing Erika yesterday. It was so hot outside and we were sweating like crazy!
I edited the following pictures with some peachy tones and brighten the pictures a bit and I think they complement her dark skin very well. We all learn as we go so for those learning like me and find it difficult to edit darker skin tones try peachy tones! 🙂
I also want to comment that i did very minimal editing on these…we had wonderful light. Any favorites? I appreciate all feedback!
Below is an example of the SOOC shot my brother did
Notice we had boring skies and no sunshine…
After applying textures, boosting colors and temperatures:
Since I’m on maternity leave, I decided to start trying new photography techniques and started playing with textures. I am not a huge fan of them but I do love pink skies and we all know how rare they are…they usually appear after a storm or a hurricane LOL. Yesterday, while my boys took a nap, I was pinteresting and found several free textures to play with. I edited this photograph with 2 different ones and changes the levels of opacity so they would not look to aggressive and “fakeish” and I loved the end result. What do you all think of the use of textures in photography?
